1. Our Role as a Platform
Partyvorous is a marketplace that connects event-goers with event organisers. Refund eligibility is ultimately governed by the cancellation policy set by each organiser. Where an organiser's policy is more restrictive, it takes precedence over our default policy below.
We always clearly display the applicable refund policy on the event detail page before you complete your purchase.
2. Buyer-Initiated Cancellations
You may cancel a booking directly from your Bookings page provided cancellation is permitted for that event.
- More than 48 hours before the event — full refund of the ticket price (convenience fees are non-refundable).
- Within 48 hours of the event — no refund unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser.
- After the event — no refund under any circumstances.
Some events are marked as non-refundable at the organiser's discretion. This will be clearly stated before purchase.
3. Event Cancelled by Organiser
If an organiser cancels an event, all ticket holders will receive a full refund of the amount paid (including convenience fees). We will notify you by email and process refunds automatically — you do not need to raise a request.
Refunds are credited back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take a few additional days to appear on your statement.
4. Event Rescheduled or Significantly Changed
If an event is postponed or its key details (venue, date, or time) change significantly, you will be notified with the updated information.
- Your original ticket remains valid for the rescheduled date by default.
- If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a full refund within 72 hours of the rescheduling notice.
5. No-Show Policy
Tickets not used on the day of the event — including those where entry is denied due to failure to meet age, dress code, or other entry requirements — are not eligible for a refund.
Please ensure you review the event requirements before purchasing.
6. Duplicate or Erroneous Purchases
If you accidentally purchased duplicate tickets or made an order in error, contact us within 24 hours at partyvorous@gmail.com with your booking reference. We will review and process a refund at our discretion where the event has not yet taken place.
7. How Refunds Are Processed
All refunds are credited to the original payment method used at checkout (credit/debit card or UPI). We do not issue cash refunds or transfer to a different account.
- Credit/debit card — 5–7 business days.
- UPI — 2–3 business days.
- Net banking — 5–7 business days.
Convenience fees charged at the time of purchase are non-refundable unless the event was cancelled by the organiser.
8. Raising a Refund Request
For any refund that is not processed automatically, please contact us via our contact page or email partyvorous@gmail.com with your booking reference number and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
